Point:
- Elias is approached by Captain Susannah Montague. She and her
crew have spent the worst months of winter helping to rebuild
the clanhold, but she fears that it is time to move on.
- A boat-building programme has recently begun to get the fishing
fleet to sea again. Captain Montague wants a boat to replace The
Lady - that was destroyed when Dementer crashed into the sea.
- Elias agrees to these requests. He will be sorry to see the
captain go, but makes the building of a her a ship a priority
for his craftsmen and labourers.

- Arvan celebrates his birthday. His body turns sixteen seasons
(4 years), although he was born twenty-six seasons ago and carries

- After a season and a day, Brack Ogrebane is finally free of
his compulsion to serve Xyleria Maerimydra.

Forest:
- Arvan has spent almost five weeks in the druidic glade establishing
a concerted plan with Morgase Esseni and Gylfi.
- Assorted reports of possible Malificent activity come in from
druids around Urova but there is no firm information, nothing
on Aldric Kurst and nothing to suggest King Galahyde is continuing
Mínaris's dark enterprises.
- Jelanie has also still not returned from her trip to Eldagaire.
- However, in the ten months since Harton Moor the Norandon Circle
has grown in strength.
- Arvan and Gylfi now leave Norandor for Genbasson to speak with
Davidian Moraine.

Iourn > Northern World > Urova > Tibrai > Jotan's
Point:
- Elias's new fortress in Jotan's Point is finally completed.
The fortress is called Skoldheim after the castle that used to
stand in the city before it was destroyed by dragons many years
ago.
- A grand reception is held at Skoldheim to congratulate the many
workers who seem to have done the impossible with Jotan's Point
over the past four months.
- This is the last reception Susannah Montague will attend. Her
ship is completed and she sails the following day.
- Elias learns that both Torr and Jessica will be leaving on this
ship. They have been a great asset to him since the death of Vaprissar,
but there is little left here for Torr and Jessica is finding
the lack of nobles to slaughter slightly annoying.
Morday, 41 Coldsorrow 204 LE

- A ship dubbed The Fallen Star leaves Jotan's Point for
Sorostrae.
- On board at Captain Susannah Montague, Simian Black, Dugin Makara,
Masantha Ilio, Sergenté Hulnarr, Little Bobby Proudfoot,
Torr and Jessica DiFontaine.
Sharday, 47 Coldsorrow 204 LE
Iourn > Northern World > Urova > Norandor > Uris:
- Syrah Pendragon breaks into Uris after originally being barred
from the city.
- She travels to St Mathers in the hope of finding aid, but all
clerics sympathetic to her cause have decamped to the Girdle.
- The only place she can think of to turn is the family in Salmaynak
she has never met.
