- After a day sitting in the bath, Elias feels he is finally ready
to hold a grand meeting of all the major players in Jotan's Point.
Drasha has largely organised this day, and Elias only really plays
a ceremonial role in firming things up.
- Among those represented at the meeting are the old nobles, the
barbarian chieftain and Tears-at-Flesh. The meeting is held in
the remains of Wraith Keep.
- Elias states that the new community Jotan's Point will be founded
on the principles of acceptance and openness, whosever wishes
to live in Jotans Point can do so provided they swear loyalty
to the Lord and never to harm the people that live there. No one
shall be discriminated against due to race or creed.
- Elias says that he will govern from a ruling council that will
consist of the religious leaders, head craftsmen, and all the
heads of the noble families (including the chieftain of the barbarians),
and of any other tribes and factions that join (like the harpies).
The clanlord will retain ultimate authority.
- Elias re-emphasises his stand on religion. He is pleasently
surpised to discover that Marris and Lestus seemed to have embraced
his ammendments to their faith with enthusiasm.
- With these matters out of the way, the important task of rebuilding
Jotan's Point before the winter sets in can begin.

- It is Brack's sixty-fourth birthday. He is now 16 years old
- ancient for a human, but stil young for a dwarf.

> Straits of Contemplation:
- After several difficult weeks of overland journey that included
sneaking into Salmaynak, Arvan, Nicos, Rio and Amarice arrive
at the narrowest point of the Straits of Contemplation.
- They affect a crossing and are back in Norandor.

Iourn > Northern World > Urova > Norandor > Caldeer:
- Arvan, Nicos, Rio and Amarice arrive outside the Norandon city
of Caldeer. It is here they go their separate ways.
- Arvan turns north-west and heads toward the Úngorn and
his druidic moot.
- Nicos and the others go east in the direction of Lartan Cross.
