• Amarice sets about retracing the steps of the Chosen.

• Amarice Shai'ir finds a sailor who saw the Chosen row out into the middle of the bay.
• Amarice follows their route and comes across the craggy island that is home to the Vampire of Sorgar.
• He enters the dark interior and is set upon by the undead. Although he fights valiantly, he is overcome. In his weakened condition he is embraced by Altara and becomes a vampire himself.
