- Adventurers Salamar Russ, Torgellias, Jass, Kak, Jedidiah de
Chesiré, Bronx and Blackjack are introduced to nobleman
Silas Reshen, by local Guildsman, Grossmor.
- Silas wishes to hire them to accompany him into the Wraith Haunt
in search of his missing brother Xaldan - a white necromancer
in the service of the Watchers on the Cusp of Oblivion.
- Salamar speaks to Archnecrotain Varamil, and learns more about
the Wraith Haunt.
- The party leave Northmeet around lunch time, and spend the evening
in a Sharrashan waystation.

Iourn > Northern World > Urova > Norandor > Garwood:
- Torgellias leads the party into Garwood at dusk to find the
village devastated after an attack by the undead.
- They find one survivor, an old woman called Esme, sheltering
in the temple to the Church of the Land.
- Kak spirits Esme away to safety while the others barricade themselves
in the church and wait out the night.
- The party in Garwood are attacked by ghouls. Many undead are
slain and Salamar gains dominion over two of them.

Wraith Haunt:
- Commanding his two dominated ghouls to return to their master,
Salamar and his companions follow the two compliant undead out
of Garwood and into the Wraith Haunt.
- They are set upon by hideous wolves, and then a copse of treants
corrupted by the evil of this place.
- They stumble across an undead treant called Blackroot who tells
them that the Wraith Haunt is ruled by the recently reawakened
Sarakite, and that the villages from Garwood have been taken to
a near-by citadel.
- Following the ghouls they come across a series of abandoned
buildings that are more than 6000 seasons old.
- They enter, and are attacked by ghouls and wraiths. Bronx magnificently
aquits himself against the ghouls, but Jass is horribly wounded
by the wraiths.
- Meanwhile, Blackjack has discovered a possible ally trapped
behind a wall of obsidian. It begs to be released.
- Kak finds sixty surviving villagers from Garwood imprisoned
in the rooms below. However, night has fallen a host of horrible
creatures are now decending on their position. They see no choice
but to release the "ally" from behind the wall.
- The magical wards are smashed and the red dragon, Furnice, is
released from her imprisonment.
- The dragon destroys the undead (including Blackroot) and trailblazes
a path back to safety for the party.
- Silas Reshen promises Furnice great wealth for this service.

to Oakholme:
- The party emerge from Wraith Haunt at midday. Furnice takes
her leave.
- The group lead the survivors from Garwood to the town of Oakholme.

- The party leave Oakholme for Northmeet, on new horses procured
by Silas.

Morday, 41 Scatterseed 204 LE
Iourn > Northern World > Urova > Norandor > Northmeet:
- The party arrive in Northmeet. Silas pays the group for their
help and then leaves to tell his father than Xaldan is dead. The
party fear Silas may not keep his word to Furnice.
- Blackjack believes he has conned Bronx out of most of his money
in return for a few cattle and a mangey old dog.
- Salamar tells Jass that the wounds he suffered at the hands
of the wraiths can only be healed in the Village of the Eighteen
Churches, and that he is planning on going there himself.
- Jedidiah expresses a desire to learn more about the ruined civilisation
they discovered in the Wraith Haunt.

- Salamar meets with Archnecrotain Varamil and tells him everything
that transpired.
- Bronx is offered a position in the Shadow of Mortis, that the
barbarian accepts.

- Kak returns to Oakholme vowing to use the money he has been
paid to help the people of Garwood start a new life.
- Torgellias, Bronx and Blackjack remain in Northmeet.
- Jedidiah de Chesiré heads south to Uris to look in the
great library of the Scriverners of Doom.
- Salamar and Jass head for the Village of the Eighteen Churches.
Jass voices his fears as to the identity of Sarakite's master:
a demon from antiquiry called Karatath.
