FAQ

Iourn Home > Time and the Moons > Cycles of the Moons

The six moons are named after the six gods. Each cycles through from full moon to new moon in one month, spending roughly a week full, three-quarters, half, one quarter and dark. When a moon is full that priesthood's powers are in the ascendancy, and when it is dark they are stripped of most of their powers. Each priesthood is, therefore, super powerful for one week per month and powerless for one week per month. Each cycle is the same every month, so use the following master list to determine the cycles of the moons.
