The party return to Tharkis with news of the Blight only to find that the goal-posts have moved in their absence. The Legion of Horrors have struck against Cornelius, and now the party's patron is no more. With Talia Revda missing, and the balance of power shifting in Tharkis it is up to the party and the ernstwhile undead beholder king, Varnae, to rise to an escalating challenge. Revelations come thick and fast as, the group must decide which side it is on. Will Gazahi accept an unwelcome commission? Will Revda be able to look past his vengeance? Will Jirokichi forgive an old friend? Will Lycaon finally get the answers he has been searching for? Will Clara finally face her tormentor? Is this the end of the Scribe of Tam? And who is Amara Rithisak? Presented over eight sessions.
