Finally returning to Uris, the Chosen find they have little to celebrate. Yaddagon is on his last set of legs, and vultures are gathering to pick over the Norandon crown. As the race for the succession enters its final leg, the suave Ralyon Artusi makes a move that could spell disaster for Ravenna. As the nature of Ravenna's past and her parents is finally hinted at, the Chosen fall to infighting and terminal disagreement. Without the Blades of Virtue do they have any reason to stay together even for the sake of one of their own? For the return of Fenton Pryde and the appearance of the Potentates are as nothing to Yaddagon's dying act.... at last the king names his successor. Presented over five sessions:
