Iourn Home > Guilds and Societies

There is more to Urovan life than political borders, religious faiths and hereditary succession. The numerous secular organisations of the continent succeed in keeping all aspects of life ticking over. It is these organisations, guilds and societies that stock the fabric of daily life from unravelling - some are exciting and glamourous, others are less so..... All fulfill a need, a niche in the social order.

In this section I present details of the main secular guilds and organisations found in an Iourn campaign. As with the gazetteer this rather sparse section has not been updated for the 2004 and relaunch of the site. Secular organisations have not played a large role in my campaigns so far, however, I have ideas fermenting that could catapult such organisations to the forefront of campaign six (yes, I do plan that far ahead).
