Welcome to the A-to-Z of Iourn. In the following pages you will find a comprehensive encyclopaedia of everything featured in the Iourn campaign. If it has been mentioned in a session - even in passing - then it is here in the A to Z. Long-term readers will recognise that the A to Z is an amlgamation of the Who's Who?, What's What? and Player's Who's Who? sections of the previous incarnation of this website. The old format was getting a little long and cumbersome, so I have felt the need to divide it up alphabetically.

The A to Z is not designed to be the definitive word on a character, item or location. Instead it is a signposting service. Each entry in the A to Z is normally only a few lines long, but contains links to whichever section(s) of the site have more information on the topic. If the entry in the A to Z is the only source of a information on a particular topic you can be sure that all you need to know will be contained in this section.

Updates to the A to Z

This section is a work in progress and progress is very slow. Despite the changes in format, nothing new has been added to this section for the site relaunch. This means that the information here is still only accurate up until session 32 of the Notoriety of Kings campaign. I am working on updating this information, but it is a hell of task and might take me some time.

However, there is some good news. Because the September 2004 campaign is so completely divorced from the rest of the campaign world I will be adding and updating the A to Z on a weekly basis to from 5 October to keep pace with the new game. Therefore the A to Z will be relevent for the new weekly game, but woefully behind schedule for the other game. I have recently added a further 386 entries concerning Bear's Reach and its environs.

Clicking on the bar below will take you to the the appropriate letter in the alphabetic listing. Characters are listed by their surname, not their forename. In cases where the character is only known by a forename, is only ever referred to by the forename, or only has a forename then I have included a link to take you to the appropriate place. Please let me know if you have trouble finding what you're looking for in the A to Z, and also if you have any suggestions that would make it more useful.
