FAQ

Iourn Home > A to Z > Z

Zalcamar: A powerful blue dragon slain by a group of mercenaries in 168 LE. The survivors went on to found the Guild of Adventurers.

Zellical, Zoar: High Priest of the Justicians. Based in Uris. Present at the Ceremony of the Sword on 25 Heathaze 204.

Zender: Once a burglar, Zender saw the error of his ways and rose to become a paladin in the Order of the Hawk. He joined Narramac's grand quest and teamed with fellow paladins Garnir, Cardon, Lowron and Patricia as well as the cleric Inictious. Zender was introduced to the Order by Sir Lowron and strives to live up to the old knight's faith in him.

Zephyre: Moon god of air, storms, weather, mysteries, magic and spring. Two churches follow Zephyre in their own ways. The Church of Air holds the element itself holy and supports and encourages storms and other exceptional displays of Zephyre's power; The Arcanum Incognita is the church of magic and mysteries man was not mean to know.

Zerical [astronomer divine]: An ancient man with curvature of the spine and no neck; he can only walk with the aid of two steps. In his capacity as Astronomer Divine, Zerical helped Raza puzzle out the meaning of the symbols on his chest until he realised what they were. He will now have nothing to do with the monk, and has in fact fled Uris.

Zerrimir [archdruid]: Archdruid of the Norandon circle challenged Morgase Esseni for the position of great druid twice in the last five seasons. He was revealed as a member of the Shadow Circle on 25th Lollmeadow 204 when he struck against the Great Druid and the Chosen of Narramac. Zerrimir knew that Tular was a Malificent and tarred the whole of the Norandon Circle with the same brush. Well intentioned, though entirely misguided, he was killed by Tular and the Chosen of Narramac on 32nd Midsummer 204 when he made a last desperate bid to end the Norandon mission to Kerikal. In hindsight the Chosen realised that killing him was a bad thing.

Zetetics: Members of the Desideratum Veritas.

Zookie: Ancient gnome, originally from the Pits of Walhoon, who helped to build the Monastery of the Seventh Moon shortly after the coming of the gods. He still lives and rules the secretive People of the Dream. Zookie was good friends with the original Father Abbot, Logen, and seeks to carry on his work. The work centres around Raza de Luna. Zookie is very keen for Raza to realise his true potential as a godspeaker and lead the people of Urova in a crusade to throw off the moon gods. He is very keen indeed.
