Ik'int: Rat companion of Arvan. Its name means "sneakin'" in rat. Ik'int was released into the Kerikite wilderness, on the edge of the Plains of Acheron, on 32nd Midsummer 204. His fate remains unknown.

Ilik, Solomon: One of the contenders to succeed Yaddagon XIV as king of Norandor. Solomon spent his formative years in a monastery located deep in the Úngorn, and still follows the training regimes and beliefs of the monks, although he claims to no longer be a member of the order. Solomon can trace a relationship with the current king's grandfather Yaddagon XIII, although the blood is somewhat diluted. Solomon is seen as an areligious figure, and his claim is not supported by the churches.

Inas: Massive volcano located a quarter of a mile off the coast of Kerikal. The top of Inas's crater sits ten feet below the surface of the sea. Above the crater, the water continuously boils, and noxious gases are emitted. Inas has not erupted in the last ten years, and the people of the nearby town of Shaitan fear an explosion soon.

Incantos, Cerecee: Sorostaen representative on the Council of Adventure.

Infernus: Common name for temples of the Church of Fire. The most famous Infernus is located in the Village of the Eighteen Churches, although there are others - including one in Timberlake.

Inictious: Cleric of the Arcanum Incognita. Joined Narramac's quest of Brightday 204 to find himself teamed with five paladins (Cardon, Garnir, Patricia, Lowron and Zender). Although not entirely chuffed with his new companions, Inictious endeavoured to make the best of it. He was present at Narramac's appearance on top of Mount Korvast on 1st Suntask 204.

Initiate: Any member of a druidic circle who is not a member of the Inner Circle.

Inner Circle: The ruling body of a Druidic Circle. It is made up of nine druids, three archdruids and a great druid.

Intrepidity: Headquarters of the Guild of Adventurers, located in the Old City of Uris. It is a converted temple to the Hadradan sun god.

Invigilant: Rank in the Arcanum Incognita.

Io [god]: The Ninefold dragon, Io is the creator of the dragon race. According to the scholar, Alladaine, Io is the first and greatest of their gods who embodies all beliefs and morals in one form. He apparently created the multiverse and is responsible for keeping it running. The religion of Io was once widespread across Urova. As a god, Io apparently does not like worshippers. In the far distant past, Io interceded to create peace between dragon kind, as a result many temples sprang up around the world celebrating Io. These Custodians of Concordance grew to worship only an aspect of the deity, and Io was displeased. He destroyed all the temples and punished the priests. As far as can be made out, the temples were cast down approximately 16,000 seasons ago. Since then, diluted and misguided cults of Io have surfaced from time to time, but no organised religion has ever been re-established.

Ipso [duke]: Duke who rules the duchy of Markland from Timberlake. Ipso is a relatively young duke, easily bored with the duties of his seat. He spends much time hunting and walking his lands disguised as a beggar, much to the dismay of his bodyguards. Ipso is an particularly proficient warrior, and is more than a match for any under his command. Was present at a party thrown by Ralyon Artusi on 22 Heathaze 204. Was summoned that evening to speak with the king and was the first person in line to try his hand on the Hill of Heroes on 25 Heathaze 204.

Irith 1: Housekeeper of Osroth Manor near Oakholme. Ravenna took an instant dislike to Irith on 6th Brightday 204 when the old woman treated the girl Honour poorly. Swearing vengeance Ravenna caved Irith's skull in that evening.

Irith 2 [necress]: Watcher based at the House of Passing in the Village of the Eighteen Churches. A young girl, Irith only joined the ranks in the Village after the death of Ulish Van Caspan. She serves as assistant to Archnecrotain Varamil.

Irys: Wife of Durn, and active agent for the Kerikite Circle. Irys was encounted by the Chosen on 28th Midsummer 204 during their flight across Kerikal. Irys has a sharp mind, and a canny understanding of Kerikite politics. She also makes a mean stew.

Ishara: Ageing wise-woman and witch of the area of the Cullbarren Peaks surrounding Weyland. Encountered on 18 Chillbone 203 by adventurers searching for two lost children. Ishara was encountered again by the Chosen of Narramac as they travelled through her lands with Tular and the dwarves of Kulhâzan. On 45th Lollmeadow 204 she gave a magical flower to Raza de Luna.

Ishyar: Norandan town.

Isle of the Dead: Island and part of the Sorgar archipelligo. The Isle of the Dead is located half a mile from the shore. It is hear that all the dead of Sorgar are interred. It can only be reached by boat. A temple to the Watchers on the Cusp of Oblivion is located here.
