good. Now a ranger, and staunch ally of Wulf, Einheart patrols Kerikal

hair and piercing blue eyes. Einheart fought Tular's orc forces
in the Plains of Acheron during the Midsummer of 204.

Eldagaire (2):
A huge, uneven land that rises continuously from the coast until

Churches. Elsa was Ulish Van Caspan's lover. On 49th Brightday 204,
when Van Caspan, postponed The Blessing he ordered her to remain

one of the few Watchers to survive the firestorm. During the war
she steadfastly held the belief that Van Caspan was killed by the
Church of Fire, and resented any investigation that might suggest
otherwise. Following the revelations of the Lollmeadow Enclave,
and the subsequent execution of Thaddeus Carvin her faith in herself
and her god have been shaken.
Elsvich:
Norandon barony located directly south of Umbria and the Uri, approximately
fifty miles from Uris. Although much larger than Umbria, Elsvich
is less populace and much poorer. The decision in 139 LE to grant
Umbria the right to tax trade going down river to Uris almost bankrupted
Elsvich. A great antagonism still exists between Elsvich and Umbria.
The current baron is Norris Humbolt.
Elves: An
immortal fey race taller than humans but slighter in build. The
elves are creatures born of magic and may have links to certain
celestial races. The first elf was called Corellon Larethian, and
it is from his blood that all the races of elves was born. Corellon
is not seen as a god by the elves, but as an honoured and revered
ancestor. However, he and his companions (collectively known as
the Seldarine) still play an important, spiritual role in elven
culture. Elves cannot die by any means save violence, neither do
they show any physical signs of ageing. An elf who wearies of life
passes onto a place called Arvandor where he is united with Corellon
and all the elves of ages past. Elves first came to Iourn to broker
a peace with between dragons and stop the Dragon Wars. Their success
led to the establishment of The Great Pact. Following the Great
War against Karatath in 1000 PL, the elves tired of life on Iourn.
They constructed a parallel reality called the Greymere and moved
all their people there. They have seldom returned and remain isolated,
mythical figures. Elven magic, called Sonorism by sages, is extraordinarily
powerful.
Enceinte:
A tremendous magical wall built around the Great Dark by the Grey
Princes after the defeat of Karatath in 1000 PL. The Enceinte was
devised to prevent any being native to the Great Dark from escaping

that the seven Gates of Perdition were inserted into its vast dark
ediface.
Enclave:
When two or more representatives of one of the moon faiths of Urova
meet, that meeting is called an Enclave. Enclaves have special religious
significance to all faiths, and to breach its integrity is an unforgiveable
sin. The famous Enclave of Lollmeadow 204 ended the war between
the Watchers and the Church of Fire.
Endtime: The apocalypse of Hadradan
myth when Daemonicus will rise from the ground, and God will be
forced to destroy the world in order to save it.

the Makers - an ancient sect committed to created the greatest and
most powerful magical artefacts. Eskar joined the Chosen of Narramac
in their adventure to Kerikal, after becoming convinced that their
swords were made by his order. He used his crystal library to find
out more about the swords than the Chosen had thus been able to
discover, but was killed before he could tell them everything. Eskar
was disitegrated by Archdruid Tular on 34th Midsumemr 204.
Esme: Old
woman and resident of the logging town of Garwood. When a force
of ghouls attacked the town on 30th Scatterseed 204, she hid in
a chapel of the Church of the Land, covered in holy earth. She remained
there until the party (4) found her a week later. She was taken
by Brother Kak to safety during the night, where she begged the

two were reunited in Oakholme on 39th Scatterseed 204.
Esseni,
Morgase (Great Druid): Great druid of the Norandon Circle.
Morgase is a human of almost fifty seasons, although she appears
as young and vital as someone half that age. She is a strong and
respected leader, although she did not foresee Zerrimir's betrayal,
or Tular's dark agenda - both of which cost the Order a great deal.
Although she survived the poisoning at Zerrimir's hands, and remains
Great Druid, these lapses in judgement have led others to question
her position.
Esten: A
member of the Chosen of Narramac's domestic staff. She is the group's
cook and often goes by that name.

the high cleric of the church, Tarex, lives in this temple.
Evabold (King):
King of the dwarven Clanhold of Kulhazan. Murdered on 41st Coldsorrow
203 by an assailant believed to be the dwarf Thorangrim. It was
secretly revealed to Ravenna (and subsequently the rest of the Chosen)
that Evabold was a Malificent, and actually killed by his own son
Abrinthor. Thorangrim willingly took the blame to protect Abrinthor
and save the kingdom.
Evil Tree: A broken and dead
tree located in the Whittenwood close to Bear's Reach that radiates
evil. It is to this tree that Rod Njedelstrom was attracted. The
tree was discovered by the Companions of Bear's Reach on 29 Chillbone
204. It was later found to house a portal to another world - a devastated
plane from which the murderwraiths originate.
Ezekiel:
Member of the Scriveners of Doom based at Eurikas, who translated
a porton of The Theology of Dragons for the party (3) on 30th Brightday
204. He sold the information again to another party of questors,
causing the party some serious troubles on the barrow moors.
