Dael:
Infant born to Emmaelia Craftwright in Spring 204. It is widely
believed that Dael's father is the half-elf, Illyan Snowantle, although
neither party has confirmed this.
Daemonicus: The Devil of Hadradan
myth. When the God created the world one of his servants betrayed
him. God cast the traitor down into the underworld where he took
on the form of a giant burrowing insect. Daemonicus continually
gnaws at the foundations of the world, and sends servants to tempt
Mankind to evil. Prophecies state that in the Endtime, Daemonicus
will rise from the ground and God will be forced to remake the world
in order to destroy him. Raza discovered this information from the
Scrivener, Kybos, on 23 Heathaze 204.
Daggers
of Norandor: The only standing army on the continent, the
Daggers are based in Uris, the capital of Norandor. 800-men strong,

commander of the Daggers is Lord High General Babann of the Church
of Contention (Calafax).

his wife, Amber, but over the years the name evolved.

the Trial of Temptation for monks of the Order of the Seventh Moon.
On 13 Heathaze 204 she tempted Raza de Luna for a week to no avail.
Danask:
Wizardess in the service of Fenton Pryde. Fought a coach-top battle
with Brack Ogrebane on 45th Suntask 204 and lived to tell the tale.
She wore a magical ring made of bone that increased her strength.
This item somehow found its way into the possession of Elais Raithborne.
Darley: One of the soldiers in
the retinue of Baron Tannith Swift who came to Bear's Reach on 30
Chillbone 204. He pursued Vitor Grushko into the Whittenwood on
34 Chillbone. It is not known whether he still lives.
Darnavan's Forest: Named after
Darnavan Forester, this is a woodland of newly planted trees to
replace the area of the Whittenwood that has been felled to build
and maintain Bear's Reach. It is located directed north of the Bear
Stream.
Darold:
Fictitious brother of the fictitious wife of fictitious Dimitri.

on 43rd Brightday 204.
Davis: One of the soldiers in
the retinue of Baron Tannith Swift who came to Bear's Reach on 30

34 Chillbone. It is not known whether he still lives.
De Bauch,
Jasmin: Co-founder of the Guild of Adventurers with Wisden
Kendennis and Saramil Vyrn. Jasmin was a bard of great renown. Her
last act was to travel to the Gunstadtan Hills in 174 LE to perform
for the dwarven king. She was killed by an orc shaman during a swift
and brutal conflict that coincided with her visit.
De Chesiré,
Jedidiah: Brother to Malachi de Chesiré, adventurer,
rogue and anonymously effective warrior. Guildsman Grossmor teamed
him with Salamar Russ, Jass, Blackjack, Bronx and Brother Kak for
a mission to the Wraith Haunt in Scatterseed 204. He has a riding
dog called Rover. Jedidiah continued to investigate the ruins found
in the Wraith Haunt, and left for Uris to consult the library in
Eurikas.
De Chesiré,
Malachi: Hobbit adventurer and cleric of Vítaeous
send to the dwarven clanhold of Underbarron in Keenaxe 203 by ambassador
Niergan. He was instrumental in purging vengeful forest spirits
from the town of Weyland.
De Luna, Raza (Brother, King):
Born Yisweran Larrien, Raza's true name has been hidden to protect
him from a bizarre cult who are out to get him. Raza's parents were
murdered by a the Brotherhood of the Black Rose when he was but
an infant, although he was saved by Brother Calanary of the monastic
Order of the Seventh Moon. Raised a monk in that order, it was years
before Calanary revealed to Raza the reason for the Brotherhood's
attack. There is a strange birthmark on Raza's chest in the shape
of two crescent moons facing one another, that glows on special
celestial occassions forming (what could be) a map. King Yaddagon
of Norandor later revealed to Raza that the mark singled Raza out
as a godspeaker - an individual who has the power to communicate
with the moon gods. Raza has never manifested this ability, probably
because of the deep training he received in the Order, and the fact
that he does not believe in the divinity of the Moon Gods. The Brotherhood
of the Black Rose has hunted down and killed all the godspeakers
that have appeared over the years. The King also believed that the
eighteen churches would not be too chuffed to learn of his existance
either. Godspeakers (or moonchilds as they are sometimes called)
could easily find themselves at the head of a powerful religious
movement. The last thing that Raza wants. Raza travelled the length
of the land to participate in Narramac's great quest of Brightday
204. His first substantial trip from his monastery since childhood,
the pleasures of the outside world threaten to overtake the youngster.
He found himself allied with Elias Raithborne, Nicos Allumiére,
Arvam Walker-in-Shadows, Ravenna and Minsc. The six were victorious
in the quest, and became The Chosen of Narramac. On 35th Suntask
204, Raza revealed his history to his companions, explaining that
he was marked for death. Suffice to say that the rest of the Chosen
weren't too thrilled at the news.
Deadman's Cove: An inlet in fifty
miles to the north of Bear's Reach that provides the nearest deep-water
anchorage to the village. Deadman's Cove provides the shelter from
the prevailing winds, but is horribly exposed if the wind changes.
The ship, Demeter, was left in Deadman's Cove on 43 Chillbone.
Death by
Water: A rather nasty fate that awaits any member of the
Bombastic Church apprehended by the Church of Fire. Finch was killed
in this manner, and Wren (Rio) was scheduled for a similar fate
on 30 Heathaze 204, but she was saved by Nicos.
Deathrattle Nettle: A rare plant
found in cold forests, the leaves of which can be boiled own by
a skilled herbalist to create a natural diarrhoeic. Deathrattle
was a part of the poison that skilled Baron Tannith Swift on 32
Chillbone 204.
Deep-Guides:
Dwarven guides who know the maze-like tunnels of their homeland
like the back of their hand. Only deep-guides have the savvy to
negotiate The Ways.
Deerkor:
Originally from Kannalas, Deerkor is a warrior and a wizard in the
service of Galahyde the Black. He embarked on Narramac's great quest
and was partnered with Whisper, Josepp, Kismo, Misgon and Drasha.
He is a horribly evil man. He battled the Chosen of Narramac in
the otherworld called the Maw of Io on 40th Brightday 204, and was
almost defeated by them. He was almost certainly trapped in the
Maw when Dralcarnus's dimensional portal closed.
Delaphay:
Giant eagle and good samaritan. Helped the party (3) avoid contact
with the dragon Furnice on 42nd Brightday 204. The Chosen met Delaphay
again on 27th Midsummer 204, when he led the eagles who transported
them from the Laughing Rock across Kerikal. Delaphay carried Elias
in this journey.
Demeter: Ship captained by Varna
and chartered by Úsaan Altorro to take him to Bear's Reach
in time for the first day of Winter 204. The ship was found drifting
on 42 Chillbone by the companions of Bear's Reach, and Úsaan
the only survivor. Varna's last log entry was 47 Keenaxe and all
seemed well. The companions believe the Demeter was attacked
by otherworldly nasties. The ship is currently owned by the Njedelstrom
family and is at anchor in Deadman's Cove.

Landlady of the only tavern in Oakholme. Proficient with the crossbow.
Married to Samuel, has one child called Rek.

Capital of Calclafiqe and birthplace of democracy.
Dementor:
A very bright star in the night sky.
DeNeuvre,
Allianna: Wizard and peacemaker sent to Underbarron in Keenaxe
203 at the direction of Niergan. A reasonable and sound individual
she favours reconcilliation over confrontation - a policy that brought
her into dispute with the hobbit, Stouty Hairyfoot.
Derriac:
Ravenna's mentor and close friend. He lived in Uris until the night
of Sunday 14th Brightday 204 when his home was gutted by fire. Ravenna
discovered this two weeks later. The sorcerer's body was never recovered.
Although a message received by Ravenna indicated that Derriac is
still alive. Derriac had in fact fled from powerful enemies, and
used his friendship with the dwarven High King Goldorro to find
refuge in Gunstadtan. Derriac arrived in the dwarf hold of Kulhâzan
- a place where he visited before. Derriac was involved in the conspiracy
to kill King Evabold. It was Derriac who suggested using Thorangrim
as a scapegoat, and Derriac who suggested where to send Thorangrim
(to Uris). Ravenna uncovered all of this when she met Derriac again
on 27th Midsummer 204. Although Derriac knows something of the fate
of Ravenna's parents he will not tell her what it is. He remains
in Kulhâzan for the time being.
Desideratum
Veritas: Feared branch of the Arcanum Incognita that specialises
in ferreting out traitors to the church in all their guises. Their
resources are legendary and their remit enough to shake the strongest
heart. Members of this organisation are kown as Zetetics or Truthseekers.

by the Chosen of Narramac at a party on 34th Suntask 204.

Iltilmus (Count): Alberdark's lieutenant and right-hand-man.
Iltilmus is heir to the ducky of Kemelicus. He joined the quest
of the arch-wizard Narramac in Brightday 204 and was teamed with
Plensis, Yargon, Morgan and Toomor as well as his bodyguard, Chargek.
Iltilmus met the party (4) on 48th Brightday 204 and was forced
to back down from a confrontation with them. It is unlikely that
he has forgiven them for this. Iltilmus continues to friendly with
the Watcher, Plensis, despite the war.
Devries,
Rebecca (Baroness): Eldest daughter of Anton Devrire, Duke
of Sorgar. Married Baron Leston of Umbria on 27 Stormtide 197, but

Sophia (Lady): Daughter of Duke Devries of Kemelicus. Sister
to Iltilmus.

Zerrel (Lord): Second son of Duke Devries of Kemelicus. Brother
to Iltilmus.

Discourse
on Undeath: Treatise produced by Zendell Macinarri in 32
LE that led to the expulsion of the Church of the Unbeating Heart
from the Covenant.
Dismallion:
Originally, a duchy of Norandor ruled from Kannalas by Duke Galahyde.
When the duke turned against the king on 41 Dark Days 203, earning
the title of Galahyde the Black, he managed to keep hold of most
of the land. Much of Dismallion now stands as an independent nation
within the borders of Norandor.
Dolanz,
Bumbrey (Count): Once a baron from Dismallion, Dolanz fell
on hard times when his barony was swallowed by Galahyde the Black
and he refused to turn his back on King Yaddagon. Dolanz was first
encountered by the party (3)on 26th Brightday 204, when he was attacked
by bandits on his way to mooch at the royal court. His life was
saved by the party (3), and he repaid them by getting them into
the capital. Dolanz is a rotund and cheerful man who believes in
taking all of life's pleasures to the limit. Dolanz was encountered
again by the Chosen of Narramac on their admission to the royal
society at the beginning of Suntask 204. On 36th of that month the
betrothal between the baron and fourteen-year old Lady Rowena Caled
was announced. He became count of Hessex after the previous ruler,
Dai Caled, tried to have him murdered by the Bombastic church and
failed. His marriage is with Rowena is still on, although he harbours
great affection for Princess Celestine whom Dolanz played with as
a child. Tried for the Blade of Hope at the Ceremony of the Sword
on 25 Heathaze 204.
Domain:
Druids divide the world up between themselves in easily identifiable
geographical areas known as domains. Norandor and the islands of
Hanilly, Arrock and Calsinor are examples of one such domain. The
organisation of druids within a domain is called a Circle.
Dorney:
One of the members of the dwarven warband that arrived in Uris on
42nd Suntask 204 searching for murdered of King Evabold of Kulhazan.
Returned to Kulhâzan with Grimm and the captive Thorangrim,

of the group. On 41st Lollmeadow he was struck by a boulder after
mooning some stone giants.
Dort: Sole-survivor
of a band of thugs hired by Troupe Torrando to murder party investigating
the death of Ulish Van Caspan. After Torgellias butchered the rest
of his group (including his brother, Galvin) on 46th Suntask 204,
Dort was taken to the House of Passing. He was 'interviewed' by
Salamar, Bronx and Varamil on 48th Suntask, but could reveal little
of his employer.
Dragon:
Seedy tavern in the Village of the Eighteen Churches run by Vardos.
Dragon Wars:
A series of terrible wars between dragon-kind that rocked the cosmos
aeons ago. If they had continued it is possible that reality itself
could have been sundered. The wars finally ended on the world of
Iourn where a peace between dragons was brokered by the elves.
Dragon Within:
Creature of vast power that resides in a vast citadel of silver
and gold in the centre of Salmaynak. Although unseen for many years
it is still appeased by monthly offerings of livestock, gold and
virgins.

along the north Uris road. Dragonmount is built on a small hill
said to be the site of a great battle between the town's founder
and a powerful dragon.
Dragon's
Teeth: An Üganthé barbarian tribe from Kerikal.
The Dragon's Teeth are a relatively small band, largely disliked
by the rest of the Üganthé because of their links to
the orcish forces occupying Kerikal. As a whole the Dragon's Teeth
hate orcs as much as the next barbarian, they are just a little
more pragmatic when it comes to surviving in the wastes. Their cheiftain
is a man named Pute.
Drak: One
of the militia men from Oakholme. Hot-headed and a little mad, he
helped to arrest the party (2) on 6th Brightday 204.
Dralcarnus:
Half troll, half sapphire-dragon, Dralcanus is the Guardian of Ashardon
and has remained trapped in the temple since it was cast into the
ground 16,000 seasons ago. Despite his impressive stature, Dralcarnus
is a gentle creature who enjoys literature and good music. He is
also terribly lonely, and was pleased to befriend the party (3)
when they entered his home on 40th Brightday 204. Dralcarnus was
devastated by the murder of his familiar Jot at the hands of Whisper,
and may never recover from the trauma.
Drannik (King):
King of Norandor from 161 to 167 LE.
Dream: Another
plane of existance that lies parallel with the real world. Most
people enter this realm when they sleep but it can be entered independently
by those with the skill and the wisdom. There are those, such as
the Brotherhood of the Black Rose and the forces of darkness, who
are very proficient at entering and manipulating the dreams of others.
Dreamheart:
A maelstrom of emotion and fantasy at the centre of Dream. The only
place in the realm where Dreamers can die.
Driskal (Squire):
Squire of Weybridge in the barony of Umbria.
Drowned Man:
Waterfront tavern in Uris frequented by Dellan Gant.
Druid: Colloquially,
any member of the Druidic Order. Technically, however, only members
who have risen to - or beyond - the Inner Circle may call themselves
a druid. Everyone else in the order is merely an Initiate.
Drusilla (Druid):
Member of the Inner Circle of the Order in Kerikal, Drusilla is
a half-elf who solicits many odd looks from those she meets. Drusilla
met Tular and the Chosen of Narramac in Kulhâzan on 27th Midsummer
204, and conducted them to Archdruid Salvatore. She fought alongside
the Chosen during the great battle in the Plains of Acheron. Following
Raldan and Salvatore's death, Drusilla is tipped to move up the
ranks to Archdruid.
Dugmantle's
Hold: Great hall of Külhazan.
Dulluth:
One of the three Accursed druids who used their powers to defile
the land. Dulluth was a simple-minded minotaur from Junos who defiled
while trying to save a village from an avalanche. He did not notice
what he had done until it was too late. Although repentant, the
Order still executed him.
Dün
Celest Ka'rannin: Dwarvish name for the magical artefacts
given by Narramac to Elias, Arvan, Raza, Ravenna, Brack and Nicos
on 1st Suntask 204. Roughly translated as "swords of good".
Dunhâzan:
The hall of the High King of the Gunstadtan dwarves.
Durant (Investigator):
Priest of the Justician Church who was charged with investigating
the death of Ulish Van Caspan. Durant began his work in the early
hours of 2nd Suntask 204, but was pulled off the case the following
day when the High Holy Witness of Doom declared war against the
Church of Fire. Durant did not believe the Church of Fire were responsible
but did not look into the matter any further. He was, however, more
than happy to help Kak and Jass when they came to see him on 44th
Suntask. Durant currently has no knee in his right leg after an
encounter with a poweful sorceress. He has been taken off active
duty temporarily and walks with a stick.
Durn: Ageing
haropsichord player and friend to the Kerikite Circle. Durn was
encountered by the Chosen of 28th Midsummer 204, during their flight
across Kerikal. He is very proud that all four of his sons have
grown up to become druids. Durn considers himself very knowable
about the surrounding area, although he is often tempered by his
wife, Irys.
Dyer, Alice (née Craftwright):
Third child of Kurt and Rebecca Craftwright. Born in Autumn 200,
Alice married Joshua Dyer in Autumn 204.
Dyer, Anna (née Walker):
Born into the Walker family in Summer 195, Anna is the twin of May
Walker (now May Njedelstrom). Anna was married to her first cousin
Murloe Dyer in Spring 200. She produced one child, Constance, the
same season before succombing to a terrible disease that took her
in less than three days. Murloe never really recovered from this
loss.
Dyer, Antoine: Eldest child of
Jaice and Muriel Dyer. Antoine aids his father in his logging work,
and one day aspires to be a druid. He was born in Summer 201.
Dyer, Ariadne (née Fisher):
Born into the Fisher family in Spring 200. Ariadne married Balkor
Dyer in Spring 204 and has one son, Demond. Ariadne is currently
pregnant with the couple's second child.
Dyer, Balkor: Second son of Benjamin
and Ioan Dyer, born in Spring 198. Balkor is an accomplished tanner
and spends much of his time working in the tannery with Dominic
Dyer (whom he refers to as his uncle, but is in fact his first cousin
once removed). He married Ariadne Fisher in Spring 204, and has
a son called Demond.
Dyer, Benjamin: Eldest son of
Robert and Beth Dyer, born in Autumn 193. To much of the rest of
the family, particularly his cousin Tristram, Benjamin is a layabout
whose life is always roses through no effort of his own. He was
handed a place on the village council after his father his uncle
Fundin died in Winter 200 (a seat that Tristram was currently occupying).
In Summer 197 he married Iona Thorn, the most desirable young lady
in all of Bear's Reach, without seeming to make any effort. He has
three children, and generally seems to get by without doing any
work at all. Benjamin is quite simply one of the luckiest people
who has ever lived.
Dyer, Bernadette (née Walker):
Born into the Walker family in Winter 195, Bernadette married her
first cousin Monty Dyer in Spring 195. She has two children: the
devastating beautiful Kaleena and the devastatingly stupid Bungle.
She has no intention for have any more despite her husband's urgings.
Dyer, Beth (née Miller):
Born into the Miller family in Autumn 188, she was married to Robert
Dyer in Spring 193. Beth produced three children (Benjamin, Murloe
and Jaice) before her untimely death from gout aged thirty-two seasons
in Autumn 196.
Dyer, Bogun: Elder son of Joseph
and Kaleel Dyer. Born in Winter 202.
Dyer, Bungle: Younger child of
Monty and Bernadette, born in Spring 201. Bungle is mentally sub-normal
and even at fourteen seasons of age seems to have less of a grasp
on reality than your average toddler. He loves his sister Kaleena
fiercely, and would do anything for her.
Dyer, Caitlyn Venturo (née Smith):
Sister of Ras Smith, Caitlyn makes her living in Bear's Reach as
a mid-wife and also lay-preacher of Vítaeous. This seemed
to make sense to the practical minded Caitlyn as she was always
present at births anyway. Born in Summer 196, Caitlyn was the lover
of Tobias Forester, when he left Bear's Reach she grew closer to
her long term friend, Dominic Dyer. A short seven seasons later,
Dominic plucked up the courage to propose and the pair were married.
They have no children of their own, but Caitlyn considers herself
Illyan Snowmantle's surrogate mother. She cares for the boy, and
for his true mother Lyssa whom she remembers as her close friend
when they were both teenagers.
Dyer, Desmond: Son of Balkor
and Ariadne Dyer, born in Spring 204.
Dyer, Dominic Santori: A cheerful
man who likes to keep himself inhumanly busy, Dominic is the village's
resident herbalist, alchemist, tanner and taxidermist. He is also
a lay-preacher of Mortis (as was his mother before him) and is called
upon to conduct funerals and comfort the dying. Dominic was born
in Autumn 195 and was extremely good friends with Tobias Forester
and Caitlyn Smith. He worked hard to find a pharmological solution
to the madess of Tobias's sister, Lyssa, but ultimately failed.
When Tobias left Bear's Reach to pursue a career as a druid Dominic
asked Caitlyn to marry him. They were married in Spring 203 but
have not produced any children. Dominic considers himself the father
Illyan Snowmantle never had and truly cares for the boy, dimissing
moon church doctrine on elves and half-elves as "poppycock".
Dyer, Dorothy: Youngest child
of Jaice and Muriel Dyer, born in Winter 202.
Dyer, Fundin: Brother of Robert
and Mabel Dyer and cousin to Gail, Elsa and Ellen. Fundin was born
in Summer 188, and married Mildred Fisher in Autumn 193. He produced
four children: Dominic, Lottie, Monty and Tristram. After Mildred
died in Spring 197, Fundin went down hill and stopped taking much
of an interest in anything. He was offered a seat on the village
council in Spring 200 after the death of his elder brother, but
refused to go and sent his son Tristram instead. Fundin didn't live
much longer after this. He passed away peacefully in his sleep in
Winter 200.
Dyer, Iona (née Thorn):
Cousin of Krais Brewer. The eldest child of Mycroft and Kara Thorn.
Iona was born in Spring 193. She married Benjamin Dyer in Summer
197 and produced three children: Joseph, Balkor and Genevieve.
Dyer, Jaice: Third child of Robert
and Beth Dyer, born in Winter 195. Jaice married Muriel Fisher in
Summer 201. Toegther they have produced three children: Antoine,
Sally-Ann and Dorothy. Jaice is a very vocal supporter of his brother
Benjamin in the one-sided feud instigated by couisin Tristram. This
is not because he particularly likes Benjamin, but he does hate
Tristram. Rather than working as a dyer, Jaice is logger and helps
fell the trees the town needs for fuel.
Dyer, Joseph: First son of Benjamin
and Iona Dyer, born in Autumn 197. Joseph makes an effort to work
for a living, although he still blessed with some of the uncanny
luck of his father. In Autumn 200 he married Kaleel Weaver, and
has two sons: Bogun and Murco.
Dyer, Joshua: Respectable member
of the Dyer family. Born in Autumn 198, everyone was surprised when
he married the relatively plain Alice Craftwright in Autumn 204.
However, his affection for her is not to be doubted.
Dyer, Kaleel (née Weaver):
Born into the Weaver family in Autumn 198, she married Joseph Dyer
in Autumn 200. They have two children: Bogun and Murco. Kaleel is
an accomplished dancer and is often called uponto entertain the
village on those long, cold winter nights.
Dyer, Kaleena: Beautiful young
girl that holds the hearts of many in Bear's Reach by seemingly
only has eyes for Krais Brewer. After the debacle with Utor Smith,
Kaleena is more and more eager to marry Krais, who is flying contrary
to common sense and steadfastly putting her off. Kaleena won't wait
forever. She was born in Summer 200 to parents Monty and Bernadette.
Kaleena's mentally impaired brother, Bungle is fiercely devoted
for her. Although she finds him a little embarassing at times, she
is extremely protective of him. On 36 Chillbone 204, Kaleena revealed
that she had a close relationship with Vitor Grushko. She did not
elabourate on this.
Dyer, Mildred (née Miller):
Born into the Miller family in Autumn 189, Mildred married Fundin
Dyer in Autumn 193 and produced four children: Dominic, Lottie,
Monty and Tristram. Mildred was a lay preacher of the god Mortis,
and took on the general role played by the priesthood in the village.
The mantle was taken up by her son Dominic, who was only six seasons
when Mildred died in Spring 197, out of respect for his mother's
memory.
Dyer, Monty: Second child of
Fundin and Mildred, born in Spring 195. Monty is not a particularly
skilful dyer and makes his living from salt-farming, and helping
to store winter food supplies. He married his first cousin Bernadette
Walker in Summer 200 and has two children: Kaleena and Bungle.
Dyer, Murco: Younger son of Jospeh
and Kaleel Dyer. Born in Summer 203.
Dyer, Muriel (née Fisher): Born into the Fisher family in
Summer 197, Muriel married Jaice Dyer in Summer 201. She married
quickly because she hated the smell of fish, only to find the work
of the Dyers stinks even more. She has three children: Antoine,
Sally-Ann and Dorothy.
Dyer, Murloe: Second child of
Robert and Beth Dyer, born in Autumn 194. A sensitive and quiet
child, Murloe never truly recovered from the death of his wife,
Anna Walker, who died over three agonising days in Summer 200, just
a season after they were married. Before her death, Anna had given
Murloe a daughter named Constance who grew to be the spitting image
of her mother. Murloe now lives with his daughter and her husband,
Camden Fisher. He spends much of his time these days looking after
his grandchildren.
Dyer, Nadine (née Miller):
Born into the Miller family in Summer 194, Nadine was married to
Tristram Dyer in Summer 198 and mother to two children: Joshua and
Susan. Although Nadine despairs at Tristram's priggish ways in private,
in public she is the picture of a perfect wife.
Dyer, Robert: Elder brother of
Fundin and Mabel Dyer, born in Winter 187, and married Beth Miller
in Spring 193. Robert enjoyed his status as patriach of the Dyer
family for almost twenty seasons before his death in Spring 200.
He is survived by three children: Benjamin, Murloe and Jaice.
Dyer, Sally-Ann: Middle child
of Jaice and Muriel Dyer, born in Spring 202. Sally-Ann fancies
herself as something of an artist.
Dyer, Tristram: Pompous first
born of Fundin and Mildred Dyer, born in Autumn 193. He married
Nadine Miller in Summer 198 and has produced two children: Joshua
and Susan. When Tristram's uncle Robert died, his place on the council
reverted to Fundin, who didn't want it and let Tristram go in his
stead. Tristram sat on the village council for two years in place
of his father, but when Fundin died (Winter 200) the council ruled
that the place should revert to Robert's eldest son, Benjamin, who
was three weeks older than Tristram. Tristram has never forgiven
the council or the world for this and has become an increasingly
bitter middle-aged prig. He never passes up an opportunity to rubbish
his cousin.
