Rabwich, Ellen: US Marshal and
contact for the mid-west evidence response team on case BR056
(death of US Marshal Jack Renford).
RCV-3: Brave bomb disposal robot
sent into the Ross's home in Casper, Wyoming on the evening of 11
September 2000.
Ramirez: Columbian drugs baron
and art connoisseur. Ramirez's cousin, Jesus Hernandez arranged
for native American artefacts to be taken out of Sneddon-Small's
bonded warehouse in Brownsville, Texas and sent across the border.
Ramirez also certainly holds the painting of a tribal scene on a
large clay slate that was never recovered by evidence response.
Ramirez at the top of the DEA's most wanted list. He actively masterminds
three separate drugs cartels and supports efforts to bring down
the Columbian government. No-one knows how to find him. It is likely
the may has his own private army. See case BV004.
Range, Miles: Mortuary attendant
at the morgue in Newark. Told the mid-west and north-east teams
a little about Doctor Douglas Fairbanks during their investigations
on 12 May 2001.
Raphael:
The Left Hand of God. Archangel of Life and Faith. Unlike his fellow
archangels, Raphael has no interest in the Great
Game. He is relatively plain-speaking and happy to answer questions,
although he is still bound by the strictures that prevent him directly
interfering with humanity. In the guise of Raphael Barton, he founded
a company called Dynamic Industries on 16 July 1946 and began work
on building Barton House in Winterset in the same year. History
records that Raphael Barton died in a fire at his holiday villa
in France on 29 September 1949. His estate was temporarily transferred
to his solicitor (Thomas Moore) before the reading of his will on
12 October 1949. This was also the day Dynamic Industries was incorporated
and became Dynamicorp. The shares in the company were divided between
the existed CEO Michael Georgeson, Financial Officer James Bates,
Technical Officer Andrew Rhodes, Arnold Barnet, Raphael's illegitimate
daughter Mary Butler, and an unknown sixth individual (later discovered
to be Winterset City Council). Some conspiracy theorists (notably
James Perry) considers Raphael's death to have been murder, and
Michael Georgeson to have been behind it. Obviously, Raphael faked
his death to pass the running of the company over to the sentient
computer that controls the downed Signai craft beneath Winterset
(and has been masquerading as the entire Georgeson line). Considering
Georgeson's goals this is an example of Raphael trying to help,
but staying within the boundaries that apply to all archangels.
Raphael is on NTOPFOR's most-wanted list, but the mid-west team
is of the opinion that they are wrong about him. He gave the group
a very candid question and answer session on 14 May 2001. See case
TL348 for more
information. Raphael hates the Game to the extent that when Samael
was released from his prison on 20 June 2001 the pair immediately
came to understanding. Raphael would not interfere with Samael's
plans as long as he dismantled the game, and didn't completely destroy
the human race.
Rasmusen (Sergeant): Officer placed
in charge of the area of Joplin, Missouri struck by a falling satellite
on 5 February 2001.
Rawal, Alan: Criminal ally of
Richard Jackson, killed during the SWAT raid on #2432 Penson Avenue

Raymond, Paul: Agent for Alcohol,
Firearms and Tobacco in Texas. One of the multiple Elijah Stones
worked with him in November 2000.
Redd, Winston (Special Agent):
Academic instructor of Bruce Campbell-Robson at Quantico. Redd finds
Bruce's academic record absolutely pitiful and does not believe
he will make a good FBI agent.
Redden, Susie: Thirty-fourth victim
of Apache Joe, murdered in Van Zandt, Texas on 2 October 2000. See
case S73.
Redwood, Justin: Civil war painter,
who painted a portrait of Captain Ethan Roscoe.

A unionist infantryman who fought in the second battle of Fredericksburg.
According to legend, Reinheart was the hero of the battle. He successfully

confederacy and cut him down with his trusty butcher's knife. The
knife was lost in the fight, but eventually recovered by archaeologists.
Reismaus, Thomas (Special Agent):
FBI agent based in New Orleans, Louisiana. Attended the jazz party
on the evening of 17/18 October 2000, thus keeping himself safe
from the Joker. Reismaus is the contact for evidence response on

Remington (Lieutenant): Lieutenant
in the SFPD records department. Contacted by Artemis Black on 8
December 2000 concerning the death of Alex Long. Remington is a
big fan of Artemis Black's work and asked for an autographed book.
Renford, Chuck: Son of Jack and
Lois Renford. After the drug dealer Tic-Tac Loos was murdered by
his father in early September 2000, Chuck was possessed by the spirit
of the murdered man. Chuck dominated his mother and US Marshal Bob
Cates, and killed his own father by means of a couple of psychic
bullets. In a confrontation with the mid-west evidence response
team on 3 October 2000, Chuck animated Tic-Tac's corpse to attack
the agents. The destruction of Tic-Tac's corpse freed Chuck of the
possession. He is currently in a psychiatric hospital and is receiving
visits from his grandparents. His mother has not yet visited him.
Chuck is expected to be released at the beginning of December 2000.
Renford, Jack: US Marshal found
dead in the crawlspace beneath 1432 Penson Boulevard in Birmingham,
Alabama on 1 October 2000. Renford had been killed by the spirit
of dead drug dealer Tic-Tac Loos who Renford had murdered in frustration
at some point between the 1 and 17 September 2000. He is survived
by his widow, Lois, and son, Chuck.
Renford, Lois: Wife of murdered
US Marshal Jack Renford. Lois remained oblivious of Jack's death
for several weeks after the event because of the mental domination
exercised by her son Chuck. Chuck was possessed by the spirit of
dead drug-dealer Tic-Tac Loos at the time. Once her senses were
restored to her, Lois had a very hard time accepting these events.
And was not prepared to be reunited with her son even a month later.
Renola, Julius: Contact for the
north-east team on case NY2229.
Renton, Mark (Officer): Police
officer who discovered the bodies of the west coast evidence response
team on the morning of 13 December 2000.

Member of the Critical Response unit based in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Encountered by the mid-west team during their investigation of case
FB563.
Rhodes, Andrew: Became the new
Technical Officer of Dynamicorp on 12 October 1949 following the
death of Raphael Burton. The technical officer automatically holds
a 5% share in the ownership of the company. This is transferred
to the next post holder. Andrew Rhodes is no longer the CEO. The
post is currently filled by Bridget Seasons. See case TL348.
Riffington, Jude (Leading Agent):
Head of the Clement Strong FBI Centre in Utah, and responsible for
the witness protection scheme. Jane Munroe spoke to him on 17 October
2000 when she transported Lewis Sneddon-Small to that facility.
Riviera, Dr
Nick (Special Agent): Member of the north-east evidence response
team.
Robbins, Gavin (Doctor): Entomologist
and senior scientist at the Twin Valley Farm outside Wichita, Kansas
since the summer of 1998. Robbins discovered the queen brain bug
delivered to the farm by Richard Quail and, as an entomologist,
became completely fascinated by it. He willingly carried one of
the brain bug nymphs in his body that used chemicals to keep the
man in a composed and pliant state. Robbins was a willing slave
to the queen brain bug and, on 10 January 2001, he tried to force
Chuck Johnson into its clutches. Chuck managed to get the drop on
him and shoot Robbins in the back of the head.
Robbins, James: Worker at Law
4 All in New York City. Contacted by Ugly Joe McPike in conncection
with case ES174 on 17 June
2001. Robbins knew of Peter Ellis Dean, and sent information about
him to the agents.
Robert, Wilhelm: Member of the
FAA charged with investigating the crash of Air America Flight FB104.
With his partner, Royston Jeffries, he interviewed Jane Munroe on
10 December 2000.
Roberts (Special Agent): FBI agent
based on Hawaii. Accompanied Elijah Stone to the island of Kahoolawe
to deal with squatters on 15 November 2000.
Robinson, Donald (Sergeant): Sergeant
in charge of security at the Irongates Military Cemetery in Joplin,
Missouri. Assisted the agents on case JOP312
on 2 February 2001. Robinson has a hatred of dogs.
Rocaan, Dominic
(Assistant Special Agent in Charge): Long term member of
the east coast evidence response team, returned to active duty after
a year's sabbatical on 5 December 2000. Dominic joined the mid-west
team temporarily replacing Special Jane Munroe during the time she
was taken off active duty. Dominic has thirteen years working for
evidence response and a wealth of experience in dealing with the
paranormal. A native of Haiti, Dominic has more than a passing understanding
of voodoo. On 19 December Dominc was promoted from Senior Special
Agent to Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the west coast team.
See also Dominic Rocaan Casefile.
Roche, Christopher: One of the
old patriarches who seem to control Estelle County, Louisiana. It
is believed that, in the 1962, Roche and his buddies Christopher
Roche, Gerald de Tour and Louis la Ville were responsible for the
murder of Peter Ellis Dean. The killing was witnessed by Roger de
Tour. By 2001, Roche as aged and wheelchair-bound. He was the owner
of large cotton plantation and a widower with one daughter, Louise.
The car that cotnaining the body of Peter Ellis Dean was discovered
off the road leading to Roche's plantation. When the agents investigated
on 18 June 2001 they discovered Roche dead upstairs (apparently
of natural causes). It also looked as though Roche had murdered
his daughter. It is now believed that Roche was possessed by a vengeful
Peter Ellis Dean. See case ES174.
Roche, Louise: Daughter of Christopher
Roche. Found dead at the Roche cotton plantation by agents on 18
June 2001 (see case ES174).
Unlike her father, Louise was friendly with the black community
and helped raise funds to replace the roof of the local gospel church
after it was destroyed by arson in 1997. She was the one who discovered
the car and body of Peter Ellis Dean. It is believed that her father
killed Louise, while he was possessed by Peter Ellis Dean.
Roche, Marie: Wife of Christopher
Roche. She married him in 1964, and gave birth to a daughter (Louise)
in 1966. She is deceased. See case ES174.
Rock, Christopher: Resident of
New York and, friend of deceased civil rigths activist Peter Ellis
Dean. Rock worked with Dean in the 1960s in the Law 4 All organisation.
Rock owned the 1959 Eldorado coupe that was licenced to Peter Ellis
Dean, and that Dean was driving when he died. As a black man, Rock
could never have driven the car around Louisiana himself in the
'60s. After the discovery of the car in a Louisiana bayou, agents
contacted Rock on 18 June 2001. See case ES174
for more details.
Rodgers (Agent): Customs official
at Los Angeles International Airport who arrested Benedict Oaxaca
on 7 June 2001 for possession of PCP. He later made a formal complaint
to Artemis Black regarding Benedict and Jane.
Rodriguez, Salvador: Miner and
member of a cult for worshipped in a copper mine in Santa Barbara.
Blamed by Benedict Oaxaca for the cave-in that killed all the members
of the cult (although it was in fact Benedict who was responsible).
Rogers, Stuart: Lawyer representing
Sneddon-Small in case BV004.
He was on the payroll of Clive Fenner.
Rolf, Louis: Senior shift miner
at the Copperhead Mine in Casper, Wyoming. He did not go on strike
with the rest of the mine because he is not a member of the union.
He hopes that the strike will end soon - he does not want the mine
to close.
Rolley: Security agent present
at the address of the president to the United Nations Development
Fund on 27 November 2000.
Rolson (Special Agent): FBI agent
and member of internal affairs. With Agent Kelson he interviewed
Jane Munroe on one version of 4 June 2001 following the explosion
at Wichita airport.
Rollston (Staff Sergeant): Assigned
to MacConnell Airforce Base. Rollston was the one who noticed that
200 additional uniforms have been collected from Ho Fung's Chinese
Laundry.
Romeo Studly-Muffin: Internet
name of Chuck Johnson.
Romero, Reece (Special Agent):
A stunningly attractive agent from the inspection division. Romero
is currently working on case S89
(The Joker). On 16 October 2000 she travelled to Brownsville, Texas
to brief the mid-west evidence response team on that case. She was
a little disturbed by Black and Harlow's wild theories. She attended
the jazz part on the evening of 17/18 October in New Orleans and
therefore did not die.
Romo, Toribio: Mexican cleric
killed in 1928 during the Cistero Wars. His ghost, known as the
Santo Pollero (Holy Illegal Alien Smuggler) is said to help Mexican
struggling to get into the United States. Toribio's picture is held
in a church in Jalositlan, Jalisco. Benedict Oaxaca was involved
in an investigation of the Santa Pollero in 1999.
Roscoe, Ethan (Captain): Confederate
cavalryman and cold-hearted bastard. Roscoe was a legend in his
own time. He was renowned for pursuing black infantry regiments
and seeing that they were wiped out to a man. A driven and brilliant
tactician, he apparently engaged in a furious battle with unionist
infantryman Gustav Reinheart at the second battle of Fredericksburg.
Reinheart killed the greycoat.
Rosie: Attack-dog trained and
owned by Corporal Clark. She patrols the Irongates Military Cemetery,
hates chocolate and has a taste for human bonemarrow.
Roskaov,
Nikolai: Russian composer born on 7 May 1865 in Kiev. Attended
a Catholic seminary but was seduced away from the Church by decadent
Italian nobles. After writing his first and only great symphony,
Rosakov fell in with the khedive (the military ruler of Cairo),
Mushah Al-Rhabin. The khedive was a member of the secret society
that wanted Rosakov to create a symphony for him that would be able
to charm demons - quite probably a specific demon in the shape of
the Joker.. Rosakov retired to Prague where he penned The Requiem
for the Broken. Rosakov died in Prague either from his excesses
or madness or both. It is unknown if the khedive ever put the piece
to the purpose he intended. The concluding movement of Requiem
for the Broken (the complicated organ solo) was found in the
possession of Jenson Gilgoolie by the mid-west team. See case WK001.
Ross, Elaine:
Also known as "White", Elaine was believed to be a spy
for the Ukrainian government who infiltrated the Copperhead Mine
in Casper, Wyoming in 1990 and with the aid of her husband, Calvin
Powell, Leroy Bryce, Troy James and Randall Watson secretly mined
uranium and an odd green mineral from the mine. After the death
of Bryce, Elaine cut her losses and planned to flee with Oscar and
Powell before she was forced to return to the Ukraine. She killed
James and Watson, but Ukrainian commandos killed her husband and
Powell. She remains at large with about $8,000,000 in stolen life
assurance money. Recently intelligence seems to indicate she was
an agent of NTOPFOR, and that she is being hunted down by agents
Vitrano and Lavin. The truth has yet to clearly emerge. See case
CS1473-IND for more information.
Ross, Oscar: Computer worker in
the payroll section of the Copperhead Mine in Casper, Wyoming. He
worked with his wife Elaine (a Ukrainian spy) to mine uranium and
an odd green mineral in secret. After Bryce's death he tried to
flee to safety with his wife. He was attacked by Ukrainian commandos
and almost killed when Powell met his end. Despite the efforts of
evidence response, Oscar was killed by the commandos at the Casper
general hospital. See case CS1473-IND
for more information.
Rossey, Kris: Tracker from the
forest service brought into help the agents track the route of Enrique
Solomones on 12 October 2000.
Ruca, Gregory (Special Agent):
Until recently one of the agents on the Apache Joe case (S73).
He has in fact been working with Vitrano and the others for five
years on another case in secret , hence the lack of progress. On
13 December he was killed in a car crash instigated by Nathan Harlow
to rescue Todd O'Connell. Ruca was one of the MiBs who fired strange
ray guns on a ghostly Nathan Harlow on 6 November 2000. See cases
S73 and 0018-GCF.
Rush, Shannon: Twenty-fourth victim
of Apache Joe, murdered in Fort Worth, Texas on 3 March 1997. See
case S73.
Russell, Jane: Secretary who works
at the Twin Valley Farm just outside Wichita, Kansas. On 10 January
2001 she was examined by Jane Munroe for signs of brain bug impregnation
but found to be clean.
