Naborakov, Vasily: Pilot of the Ukrainian attack helicopter seen in Casper during December 2000. He was identified by the psychic, Valerie Hudson, on 22 December 2000.

Nalarreen: An alien race. The brain bug controlled vessel boarded by evidence response on 11 June 2006 had some Nalarreen technology.

Neeves, Kenneth (Lieutenant-Colonel): Commander of US Military Base, Fort James Cohen, in Joplin Missouri. Father of the necromancer, Mark Neeves.

Neeves, Mark: Mortuary assistant at the Freedom hospital in Joplin, Missouri and son of Lieutenant-Colonel Kenneth Neeves. Mark was also a member of the cabal of black necromancers intent on summoning the outer god, Yog-Sothoth into our reality from the beneath the Irongates Military cemetery. The attempt was thwarted by the mid-west evidence response team on 5 February 2001, and Mark Neeves was killed in the subsequeny conflagration.

Nelson, Hubert: Winterset-based car mechanic. Father of Lucy Nelson.

Nelson, Lucy: Car mechanic and daughter of Hubert Nelson who lives in Winterset. Sold Alex Drake an impressive sports car for $175,000 on 27 April 2001.

Nett, Clive: Lawyer of Clive Fenner. Advised his client not to co-operate with the FBI after his arrest on 15 October 2000.

Newman, Victor: Chemist working on thermo-insulators, who has been based at Dynamicorp's Think Tank in Winterset since November 2000 and is on the verge of returning to Tulsa. A member of the second materials team. See case TL348.

Nigel (Police Officer): Member of the Pasadena police force sent to help the mid-west evidence response team in their search of warehouses in the dock area on 12 October 2000. Entered the Coffee 4 Texas warehouse with Special Agent Jane Munroe and engaged in a gun fight by members of Jesus Martinez's drugs gang. He survived.

Night, Giles (Special Agent): FBI agent based in Knoxville Tennessee. Contact for the mid-west evidence response team on case WYN083.

Norman, Ruth: Librarian at the Kansas State Library in Wichita. In a version of 5 June inflicted on Benedict by the Sil, she spoke to the agents regarding the Duquesne Collection and the exhibition that was being used by servants of Sebek to destroy the city. The agents have not met in the real world.

Norton, Perry (Doctor): Expert in nineteenth and early twentieth century middle-eastern history at the University of Miami. The agents turned to him on 22 January 2001 to find out more information about Mushah Al-Rhabin, the last khedive of Cairo.

NTOPFOR: Non-Terrestial Originating Phenomena Force. International organisation that hunts and opposes the activities of supernatural creatures, aliens and their minions. They were set up in 1979, and were originally a military strike team that could go anywhere in the world. Although they have international jurisdiction, NTOPFOR has problems working in the United States (the US government doesn't like them). They are hoping to use the evidence response groups as their contacts in mainland America. The current commander-in-chief of NTOPFOR is Valerie Hudson.
