Gabe (Archangel): Once known as
the Gabriel, the Archangel of Revelation associated with the virtue
of charity. Gabe is a player in The
Game and is bound by its rules. He was first encountered with
Mike in Winterset, Iowa on 13 November 2000 where the pair were
on an undisclosed mission. On that occassion he did not speak directly
to the agents. Gabe was encountered again in Los Angeles on 15 December
2000 when he confirmed that he was the Archangel Gabriel. Gabe required
the agents to close down the time portal created by Alan Hamblin
III and hinted that Nathan Harlow might be able to save himself
from the Joker and Lillian Winter. He was disappointed that Harlow
was not up to the task. Despite his portfolio Gabe doesn't like
humans much and has become entirely disenchanted with his role over
the centuries. He is infuriated with evidence response's continual
use of time travel despite his instructions. He doesn't believe
in being plain when he doesn't need to be. Frankly, he doesn't like
them much. He instructed the team to stop Raphael's meeting with
Marc Georgeson on 14 May 2001. They deliberately failed to do this.
When Samael was released by Jane Munroe on 20 June 2001, part of
the deal was a brick that (unbeknown to Jane) was covered in Gabe's
blood. Samael was able to use that as a material link and drag Gabe
into Hell, where the archangel is currently imprisoned.
Gadman, Brian: Jane Munroe's first
serious boyfriend. He asked her to marry him on Christmas Eve 1991,
but she turned him down.
Gamaliel: Fallen angel also known
as The Obscurer. He is associated with the sin of Lust. Gamaliel
is known to have played the game, and to have some connection with
Gabe's Cult of Revelation. Now that Samael has returned, Gamaliel
will probably be forced to ally with his former master.
Garcia, Paul: Manager of the all
the homeless shelters in Los Angeles. He was interview by the mid-west
team on 26 January 2001, and told them that a number of homeless
regulars had been disappearing in recent weeks.
Garnetti, Bruno: Head of Garnetti
Advertising - a child talent agency located on the seventeenth
floor of 422 Wilson Street in Wichita, Kansas. Garnetti was questioned
by FBI agents in several versions of 4 June 2001, during the hunt
for Melissa Lefenwieca. See case WK016.
Gary (Police Officer): Member
of the Pasadena police force sent to help the mid-west evidence
response team in their search of warehouses in the dock area on
12 October 2000. Entered the Coffee 4 Texas warehouse with Special
Agents Stone and Black and was subsequently gunned down by members
of Jesus Martinez's drugs gang.
Gash'Khalah: Fallen angel also
known as The Breaker into Pieces. He is associated with the sin
of wrath, but is actually one of the more reasonable fallen angels.
Now that Samael has returned, Gash'Kahlah will probably be forced
to ally with his former master.
Gates: Functionary in the MK Ultra
hierarchy, and Artemis Black's fixer. Artemis charged him with keeping
an eye on Vitrano and Lavin when they met on 13 June 2001.
Georgeson, Lucy: Officially the
daughter of Michael Georgeson and the sister of Marc Georgeson.
Lucy is actually another alias of the same Signai computer programme
that has been masquerading as the entire Georgeseon family. See
the entry for Marc Georgeson for more
information.
Georgeson,
Marc: Known to the outside world as the chairman of Dynamicorp
with a 66% stake in the company. In reality, the human personality
of the Signai vessel that crash-landed in the area that is now Winterset,
Iowa in 3221 BC. Has also taken on aliases of Marc's father, Michael,
and various other members of the Georgeson family. The vessel controlled
by Georgeson was fleeing a brain bug (Shaggai) fleet when infiltrators
sabotaged the vessel and caused it to crash. Surrounded by a darkshield,
Georgeson is in contact with the four lifepods that were jettisoned
prior to impact. As chairman of Dynamicorp, Georgeson has been trying
to subtly advance human technology to prepare the world for the
impended invasion. However, the Shaggai are set to arrive sooner
than expected, so he is now considering alliances with various organisations,
including evidence response. Georgeson was visited agents as part
of the investigation of case TL348
on 30 April 2001. However, it was on 6 June 2001 that he was more
candid with them, revealing that he was the mole in evidence response.
Georgeson has an ill-defined relationship with Archangel Raphael;
he considers him an ally although he is wary of the archangel's
powers and caprious nature. Following the recovery of a ex-signai
shuttle during Operation: Certain Death (11 June 2001), Georgeson
has become less accessible, dealing with the revived crew of Signai.
These Signai are not adjusting well, and want Georgeson to leave
Earth and try to catch up with the flag ship. As none were part
of Georgeson's crew they cannot order him, and Georgeson is resisting
them.
Georgeson,
Michael: In official history, Michael Georgeson became the
chairman of the newly incorporated Dynamicorp after the death of
its founder, Raphael Barton, on 16 July 1946. At this time, Georgeson
inherited an additional 51% of company stock for a 66% stake in
the company. Certain conspiracy theorists (notably James Perry)
think Raphael's death was suspicious and that Georgeson had a hand
in it. After Michael Georgeson's death, the record shows that his
shares passed to his son, Marc. However, both Michael and Marc (and
the entire Georgeson family) do not actually exist: they are the
aliases of the Signai super computer on the vessel buried beneath
Winterset. See the entry for Marc Georgeson
for more information.
Georgeson, Robert: Officially
the son of Michael Georgeson and the brother of Marc Georgeson.
Robert is actually another alias of the same Signai computer programme
that has been masquerading as the entire Georgeseon family. See
the entry for Marc Georgeson for more
information.
Gilgoolie, Jenson (Professor):
Once a professor at Wichita University, Gilgoolie was funded by
Michel Levin of the Department of Agriculture to find a way to kill
a particular breed of arthropod. Gilgoolie did not initially realise
he was working against the brain bugs. He was infected by a Brain
Bug himself that drove him progressively insane. During the time
when he was not being controlled by the creature, Gilgoolie worked
to perfect a way to destroy it. He came to believe that some or
all of the staff at MacConnell airforce base had been infected by
the Brain Bugs and hatched a complicated plan to get an anti-toxin
into the base. He impregnated 200 duplicate uniforms with the anti-toxin
and sent them to the airforce base via a local Chinese laundry.
These actions led the mid-west evidence response unit onto Gilgoolie's
trail (case WK001). In the
final confrontation the mad and paranoid Gilgoolie was shot and
killed by Special Agent Stone, but not before he had destroyed most
of his own notes.
Gimble, Todd: Proprietor of the
Right to Bear Arms Army Surplus Store in Wichita Kansas. On 1 May
2000 he sold 200 surplus USAF uniforms to Jenson Gilgoolie. He also
sold the professor a gun.
Gillette: One of the partners
of McCollins, Gillette & Couvert - a Mississippi law
firm that employed Peter Ellis Dean in the 1960s. See case ES174.
The law firm was sold to Reginald White in 1981, and Gillette has
since died.
Glahki: Supernatual entity encountered
by NTOPFOR.
Gleeman, Karen: Adopted mother
of Stella Munroe, she is Jane's only surviving grandmother. Stella
is 88 years old, and lives a happy retirement in Florida with her
husband, Maurice.
Gleeman, Maurice: Adopted father
of Stella Munroe, and the closest thing Jane has to a maternal grandfather.
Maurice is in his eighties and lives in Florida with his wife, Karen.
Green, Eliot: Technician at the
National Radiological Institute in Nevada. He used to work on the
W-Bosun team. Green quickly saw through Reginald Alton's hunting
stories. See case BRB012.
Gold: Codename given to agents
Vitrano and Lavin by NTOPFOR. The codename was first mentioned in
a communiqué
sent by Ukrainian commandos from Caspar, Wyoming on 12 December
2000. See cases CS1473-IND
and 0018-GCF.
Goldbloom, Huck (Special Agent):
FBI agent and military liaison based in Langley, Virginia. Confirmed
to the mid-west team that Josephine McKenna was detain at Langley
and later released into the custody of the agents.
Goldfarb,
Dr Klaus (Senior Special Agent): Skilled chemist and member
of the west coast evidence response team. His dead body was found
in an abandoned warehouse in Los Angeles in the morning of 13 December
2000 by officers Renton and Fernandez. He had been almost cut in
two by automatic weapons fire. His trousers were stained an odd
colour. See case LA10749.
Goodspeed (Lt): Security officer
at the National Radiological Institute in Broken Bow, Nevada. Goodspeed
helped McPike interview Dr Pines on 11 August 2001. He had heard
of McPike's work in Caspar. See case BRB012.
Green (Agent): Member of a bomb-disposal
crew who delivered a bomb-disposal robot to the mid-west HQ on 7
June 2001.
Green, Louis: Member of the brain-bug
possessed cult that kidnapped Elayna Lewis in Winterset. He was
killed on 15 November 2000. His car phone was on the speed dial
of a phone recovered from the subterranean office beneath Winterset
on 1 May 2001. See case TL348.
Greenhalge, Floyd (Special Agent):
FBI agent based in Salt Lake City. Contact for the mid-west evidence
response team on case WHTF003.
Grenzoli, Emilio "Grippee":
Crooked art dealer based in Brownsville, Texas. He was holding a
stolen Indian medallion by Lewis Sneddon-Small following the fake
robbery at the latter's bonded warehouse on 2 October 2000. Sneddon-Small
implicated Grenzoli after he was arrested on 15 October 2000. Grenzoli
was taken into custody soon after.
Grey, Elaine: Domineering wife
of Joel Grey. Her parents live in Kansas.
Grey, Joel: Inspector for the
mining authority and resident of Casper, Wyoming where he lives
with his wife, Elaine. Joel Grey began working for the mining authority
in 1980 under the supervision of Alex Long. Grey travels all over
the mid-west in his work, and has inspected the Copperhead Mine
in Casper on numerous occasions. He inspected the mine on the day
before the accident that claimed fifteen lives on 22 October 2000,
although he was not at fault. After death of Alex Long, Joel Grey
was named the sole beneficiary in his will. Three blank cheques
(each for $250,000) were posted to Grey at an address where he never
lived. Following the conclusion of case CS1473-IND
this money has been given to Grey.
Griffin, Jake: Security guard
who worked nights at the Twin Valley Farm just outside Wichita,
Kansas. Griffin was examined by Jane Munroe on 10 January 2001 for
evidence of brain bug impregnation but was found to be clean.
Gross, Cecil (Special Agent):
FBI agent who investigated the murders of teamsters and workers
in Detroit in the 1960s. This investigation was later connected
with the disappearance of Jimmy Hoffa.
Guthman, Arnold "Arnie":
Facilities Manager of the National Radiological Institute in Nevada.
Cooperated with the agents during case BRB012.
Guthrie, Hank (Special Agent):
Member of the organised crime unit at the Richmond regional office.
Currently working on the case against local crimelord Gerard Blank
with his partner, Lewis Harrigan.
Guthrie, Wilson: Helicopter pilot
who was reported dead in 1998, Guthrie is now a private investigator
in the employ of Michael Levin. Guthrie had been waiting at the
guest house in Winterset, Iowa for two weeks when evidence response
arrived on 13 November 2000. He was waiting to make contact with
Richard Quail who had infiltrated the Westwood Charity. Guthrie
is normally based in Canada. The agents now have his contact number.
