Ebony: Codename of one of the
four leaders of MK Ultra. He met with Artemis Black in a facility
in the Colorado Mountains on 13 June 2001. Very intersted in obtained
supplies of the green mineral.
Ecks, Bradley
(Senior Special Agent): A veteran of the Counter Terrorism
Unit where he put his scientific doctorates to use working almost
exclusively in the lab. He was extremely eager to get some field
experience, which was why he was transferred to the mid-west evidence
response team on 12 December 2000. Doctor Ecks is a sci-fi übernerd,
who relates all life experiences to science fiction films, television
or novels. He is particularly fond of Star Trek and speaks fluent
Klingon. As yet he doesn't know there really are aliens, but he's
going to be thrilled when he finds out. Underwent psyche evaluation
by Royston Devries on 13 December 2000 before being posted to Vermont
(case 0015-GCF). He was transferred to Los Angeles the following
day to help with case 10479,
and later encountered the Joker. Ecks travelled back in time on
16 December 2000 to rectify a terrible wrong wrought to the timeline
by Nathan Harlow and succeeded in saving the lives of Jane Munroe
and Jack Burchill. On 19 December he killed the geomancer Mao Sei
Ben and was later promoted to senior special agent on the west coast
team. See also Bradley Ecks
Casefile.

Ecks and brother to Charles Ecks. Ignacious is married with one
son and works as an accountant in Boston.
Ecks, Robert: Bradley Ecks's grandfather
was once the Surgeon General of the Boston General Hospital before
his retirement in 1988. He lives in the Boston area with his wife
of sixty years, Ethel.
Ecks, Rosetta: Aunt to Bradley
Ecks, married to Ignacious Ecks and has one son, Zed.
Ecks, Sarah: Sister of Bradley
Ecks and a well-known artist in the Boston area. She is the dark
sheep of the family having given birth to triplets by an unknown
father. The children are Xena, Xander and Xavier.
Ecks, Xander: One of Sarah's two
sons and nephew to Bradley Ecks.
Ecks, Xavier: One of Sarah's two
sons and nephew to Bradley Ecks.
Ecks, Xena: Sarah Ecks's only
daughter, and niece to Bradley Ecks.
Ecks, Zed: Cousin to Bradley Ecks.
Zed is a founding member of the Harpies - a popular Boston
heavy metal band.
Eden (Miss): Busybody who lives
at #1433 Penson Avenue. She has access to Heath Emmentine's house
at #1432, and reported a rank odour to police that led to the discovery
of the body of US Marshal Jack Renford on 1 October 2000. Briefly
questioned during case BR056.
Edmond, Alex (Special Agent):
Partner of the murdered FBI agent Owen Sawell.
Edwards, Andrew: Canadian citizen
and member of the trio of paedophiles who escaped into the badlands
of North Dakota on 17 September 2000 to avoid the RCMP. He was accompanied
by Norton Binks and Wilson Devereaux; all were noted huntsmen. A
tall, muscular and striking man, Edwards 'starred' in the films
produced by Binks. He never escaped the badlands, and was ripped
apart by a werewolf. His remains were discovered by evidence response
on 22 November 2000. See Case DVL017.
Eisenstein,
Angus Jack (Deputy Director, Evidence Response; Lt Col USAF):
Before his death, the head of all five branches of the evidence
response team, and the immediate superior to Artemis Black. Eisenstein
was based in Washington. Eisenstein was aware of the nature of cases
evidence response investigates. He was part, or the head, of a group
dedicated to finding and dealing with these menaces. He was certainly
known to (and knew of) the work of Michael Levin, although there
was no official link between them. Eisenstein was happy to sanction
unofficial activity on the part of the evidence response teams as
long as they didn't get caught. He used a white noise generator
during private conversations about evidence response, leading to
the conclusion that he had enemies who may be monitoring this conversations.
As a result Eisenstein did not like to be contacted very much, preferring
to give his teams autonomy. Eisenstein knew there is a mole in the
evidence response team, but doesn't know who it is. On 19 December
2000 he was promoted from Special Agent in Charge to Deputy Director
and installed Artemis as a buffer between him and the teams. Artemis
Black discovered that Eisenstein was a member of MK-Ultra (an organisation
obsessed with creating the perfect soldier through conditioning
and drugs), and that organistion had links to the creation of Apache
Joe. He told his old collegues about the organisation but not about
Eisenstein's link to it. Originally, a member of the USAF Eisenstein
and his companion Richard Justice Williams had a strange encounter
at Gila Mountain in 1937 that stopped them from ageing. Eisenstein
joined the FBI in the 1940s and was a close friend of J. Edgar Hoover.
He later formed all the evidence response teams. On 14 May 2001
Eisenstein was flying back to the east coast to a meeting in Los
Angeles when he was found dead in his seat, 35,000 feet over Dallas,
Texas. It is probable that whatever effect was sustaining his long
life simply stopped working. The east coast team and Richard Justice
Williams investigated. Eisenstein was resurrected on 10 June 2001
and promptly retired. It has recently been revealed that he was
a member of MK Ultra and the Sons of Solomon as well as Majestic.
Eisenstein, Catherine: Once wife
and punching-bag of Donald McKraken and mother to Philip and her
daughters Joan and Mary. Catherine threw Philip out of the house
when he was sixteen, when it seemed he would never mend his criminal
ways. After Donald's murder, Catherine married again to Greg Eisentein
and has had two further children: Eliot and David
Eisenstein, David: Son of Catherine
and Greg Eisenstein.
Eisenstein, Eliot: Son of Catherine
and Greg Eisenstein.
Eisenstein, Greg: Second husband
of Philip McKraken's mother, Catherine. He has two sons, Eliot and
David. It is unknown whether this Eisenstein has any relationship
with A. Jack Eisenstein of evidence response.
Eliot,
Niles (Constable): Member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police
assigned to apprehend escaped paedophiles Norton Binks, Wilson Devereaux
and Andrew Edwards. On 16 November 2000, Eliot and the evidence
response team entered the North Dakota badlands in pursuit of the
fugitives. Eliot is an accomplished outdoors-man, but is shy in
the company of women (particularly Elise Steiger who incessantly
hit on him from the moment she saw him). Eliot witnessed the werewolf
attack and was almost nonchalant about it, speaking of legends of
the "wood folk". Shortly after the end of this case Eliot
was joined for a brief time by one of the multiple Agent Stones.
Eliot learned of Elise Steiger's death on 30 November 2000. See
Case DVL017.
Elliott, Jeffrey: Channel 7 news
reporter who covered the multi-car pile up that surrounded agents
Drake and Jones on 13 May 2001.
Ellington, Lois (Senior Special Agent):
Leading agent in the FBI Counter Terrorism Unit. Born in New Hampshire
in 1969, Ellington worked in a local legal practice before joining
the FBI in 1997. She was fast tracked for promotion, becoming a
senior special agent in 1999. On 21 August 1999, Ellington and her
colleagues Vale and Wireman kept a rendezvous with agents of the
security division at a mall in Brightstar, Arkansas. The particulars
have not been revealed, but Ellington seems to want to talk about
it to the mid-west team. She is currently working on Operation:
Walled Garden in New Hampshire. See casefiles BRTS002
and CI0203/NH2.
Elizabeth (Lady): Homeless person
and friend of Jenson Gilgoolie and assisted him in his plot to smuggle
200 extra USAF uniforms on to MacConnell Airforce Base. It is unknown
whether she was or was not a "lady". Her body was found
on railway lines in Wichita, Kansas on 10 August 2000. Her death
was not suspicious, but was investigated by the mid-west evidence
response team as part of case WK001.
Her corpse was exhumed on 28 September 2000 and given a CAT scan
the following day, but nothing untoward was discovered.
Elkins, Lydia: Wife of the supervisor
of a postal depot in Birmingham, Alabama. Was having an affair with
postal worker Heath Emmentine. Questioned to corroborate Emmentine's
story during case BR056.
Emerald: Codename of one of the
four leaders of MK Ultra. He met with Artemis Black in a facility
in the Colorado Mountains on 13 June 2001.
Emmentine, Heath: Postal worker
who dwells at #1432 Penson Boulevard in Birmingham, Alabama. Investigated
in connection with case BR056.
Was discovered to be having an affair with his supervisor's wife,
Lydia Elkins but was not implicated in the death of US Marshal,
Jack Renford.
Eric (Police Officer): Member
of the Pasadena police force sent to help the mid-west evidence
response team in their search of warehouses in the dock area on
12 October 2000. Entered the Coffee 4 Texas warehouse with Special
Agents Stone and Black and engaged in a gun fight by members of
Jesus Martinez's drugs gang. He survived.
Ernst, Lois (Professor): Head
of the microfusion team at the National Radiological Institute in
Nevada. Her work was been stymied by the theft of the main accelerator
chamber. She found Professor Alton repellent. See case BRB012.
Eyes of Sebek:
One of a trinity of cults that worship the Egypitan crocodile god,
Sebek. The Eyes of Sebek are highly specialised at spying and infiltration.
Although considered freedom fighters or vigilantes in their home
countries, the rest of the world considers them to be terrorists.
They have extended their reach far beyond the middle east and are
now a global problem. Familiar with blood sacrifice, the Eyes use
magic to further their ends. The Eyes of Sebek are suspected to
be involved in the kidnapping of Melissa Lefenwiecz on 4 June 2001
and the plot to destroy Wichita. See case WK016.

and the Tears of Sebek.
Eyres, Arnold: Chielf librarian
of the Los Angeles Central Library. Reported a jammed door in the
basement to to maintenance on 8 December 2000. The cause of the
jam turned out to be a time hole back to 1941. Just fancy.
Eyres, Mallory: Assistant assigned
by Dr Dewey to help in the autopsy of the west coast team. Jane
Munroe politely refused his help.
