FAQ

FBI Home > Evidence Locker

The evidence locker is the secure facility at each of the evidence response headquarters that hold the eclectic clues, memorabilia and pathetic stocking-fillers that have been collected by the various teams on their missions. This section of the website looks at all the items collected by the evidence response teams, and attempts to make a little sense of them. Inevitably, emphasis is placed on the mid-west team because they are normally the player characters followed in the game.

The Mid-West Evidence Locker

From Case WK001

  • USAF Uniform (modern design)
  • USAF Uniform (Gilgoolie's duplicate impregnated with neurotoxin)
  • Gilgoolie's computer (probably beyond saving)
  • A supply of the anti-toxin made by Jenson Gilgoolie
  • The musical score for Requiem for the Broken by Nikolai Rosakov. Discovered in the remains of Gilgoolie's lab. It is an unfinished piece, the composer went mad while writing it.

From Case S89

  • Joker with legend "B, the game has begun" written upon in.
  • 2 of Hearts soaked in the caustic alkali Potassium Permanganate (KMnO4).
  • 10 of Hearts, crumpled and torn.
  • Jack of Hearts, badly blistered by a heat gun.
  • 5 of Hearts smeared in congealed blood.
  • Ace of Spades with a hole through the middle.
  • Nugget of chemically pure tin.
  • 3 of Spades.
  • Bag of crumpled plaster.
  • Petri dish containg the 5 of Spades, 2 of Spades and 3 of Hearts. The bottom of all three cards had been sliced into pieces.
  • 4 of Hearts covered in waterproof ink.
  • 5 of Hearts pierced through the middle and soaked in human blood.
  • A leather couch previously owned by Lillith, Mother of Demons (we should definitely put it on eBay).

From Case 1097-IN1

  • Bag of grain that may or may not be proof against brain bugs
  • Gingham dress that once belonged to Maisie Prentice.

From Case BV004

  • $10,000,000! Okay, it's really in a bank somewhere but I thought it was worth mentioning.
  • Broken medicine stick.

From Case S73

  • An enormous amount of genealogical research.
  • Various photographs and historical documents of the Texas Rangers.

From Case WNT075

  • A small silver stilletto with angellic engravings that seems to be able to injure those magically warded against harm.
  • The phone number of Wilson Guthrie.

From Case DVL017

  • Elise Steiger's assault rifle with its gun barrel bent back upon itself.
  • A vial of werewolf blood.

Other Items of Note

  • A number of pills that create a chemical in the body that slowly poisons the brain bugs.
  • An occult tome: The Celaeno Fragments.
  • A diamond necklace with a Japanese lily (a yuri) engraved upon the stone. This was given to Jane Munroe by Michael Levin on 29 November 2000 and is worth in excess of $150,000. It seems to have no power over the brain bugs and it is dawning on Jane that this was a genuine present from Levin.
  • What appears to a be a statue of Joshua Blackthorne wearing an expression of shock and surprise now stands in a corner of the Wichita HQ. Unfortunately this is actually Joshua, petrified by evil sorceress, Veronica Cunningham.
  • A second occult tome: The Book of Entrance. We have a most ancient original copy on vellum, and a mediaeval copy.
  • A detailed translation of the Hieorglyphs found in Hamblin's home.
  • A red leather bound book belonging to the deceased Special Agent Dr Jennifer Summers of the west coast team. The book contains Chinese writings and I-Ching and is possibly of some occult significance.

The West Coast Evidence Locker

Items of Note

  • A large black rod two feet long and two inches in diameter, recovered after a raid by the west coast team on the anthropological insitute at Caltech.
  • CD marked "Demonically Possessed" that no-one has had the courage to find anything more about.
  • Thick square of thick brown hide that is completely impervious to ballsitic weapons, fire and all manner of attacks. According to the files of the late west coast team it belonged to a 100 foot burrowing creature that would not have been out of place in a Frank Herbert novel. The west coast team destroyed the creature by driving a truck of explosives down its throat. They kept this hide as a souvenir.
  • Half-brick with dried human blood upon it, found in an alley by the Los Angeles Community Hospital. There is something about this item that is very interesting. It always attacts your gaze and seems more important than it could possibly be.
  • Two jade pendants of Talent constructed by Mao Sei Ben in approximately 500 BC. One is spent and one ready to be used. Originally the same pendant they were duplicated due to Nathan Harlow's messing about with time. See the section on Time Travel and case 0008-GCF for more information regarding the pendants.
  • The jade pendants of Confidence, Strength and Skill melted into one amorphous and useless lump following a direct hit by a stinger missile.
