Kidnapping of Melissa Lefenweicz

Wichita, Kansas. At 5:00am on 4 June 2001 Melissa Lefenwiecz, daughter of local district attorney Timothy Lefenwiecz was reported missing from her home in Wichita, Kansas. A large search operation was immediately mounted by the local FBI. The mid-west evidence response team was co-opted into this search. Contact: Senior Special Agent William Allenson in Wichita.
